Baat-Cheet

Baat-Cheet is a monthly open discussion platform organized by the Economic Progress and Innovation Center (EPIC), and held on the second Saturday of every month. The initiative brings together students, youths, and citizens to share ideas and engage in meaningful conversations around contemporary issues and the key challenges and opportunities of Madhesh.

The platform welcomes participants from diverse backgrounds and creates a space where everyone can openly express their views, listen to different perspectives, and learn from one another. To make discussions more inclusive and accessible, Baat-Cheet is open in local languages including Maithili, Bhojpuri, Bajjika, Nepali, and English, allowing participants to engage comfortably in the language they know best.

Through regular sessions, EPIC aims to promote dialogue, encourage critical thinking, and strengthen civic engagement among young people. By creating an open space for conversation and shared learning, Baat-Cheet contributes to building informed citizens and a stronger foundation for a more prosperous Madhesh.

आगु बढू : उद्यमी किस्सा

Aagu Badhu – Udhyami Kissa is a monthly initiative of the Economic Progress and Innovation Center (EPIC), organized in colleges and universities across Madhesh.

The program brings real entrepreneurship stories to students in a simple and relatable way. Every month, students watch a documentary based on the journey of a local entrepreneur from their own region. After the screening, the entrepreneur joins the classroom session in person and shares their experiences, challenges, struggles, and achievements with the students.

This initiative helps students understand entrepreneurship through practical local examples. It shows them that success is not only built in big cities or faraway places, but can also begin within their own community.

Through direct interaction, students get the opportunity to ask questions, learn from real experiences, and better understand what it takes to start and grow something of their own.

The main goal of Aagu Badhu – Udhyami Kissa is to promote entrepreneurial thinking, inspire innovation, and encourage young people to explore their ideas with confidence.
